| The Amber Dextrous website has been voted one of the best Diva websites in the world according to Dragtastic.com. See quote below "Dragtastic.com is proud to award our DIVA/KING WEBSITE AWARD to those websites that exhibit the best in performers and those that support the art." The website was created by Simon Gabriel of Intechnique and is maintained by both Simon, and Rob of Dragarama. There were four levels of award - bronze, silver, gold and platinum. The Amber Dextrous website featured in the Platinum category and is the only UK drag act to be featured in this category. Many thanks to both Simon and Rob who continue to make this an award winning website and thanks to all who voted for it your support is very much appreciated. |

| Amber Dextrous is to start filming for Granada TV at the end of 2004. The new situation comedy titled "The Melbourne" tells the story of 2 Australian boys who move to London. Amber Dextrous plays the part of .... Amber Dextrous!!! The drag queen receptionist at the Melbourne Boarding House. Devised and produced by Open Door Productions. Producer Barry Gout says "We could have cast no-one better than Amber to play this role, after all shes been doing it for the last 9 years." Amber successfully landed the role after being booked as the cabaret at Mr Gouts birthday party. Hows that for luck. The 8 part series should hit our screens next year. |

| A recent painting of Amber Dextrous tickled the fancy of Coffee House Owner Rosario Bavetta so much that he bought it and hung it in his coffee house. Rosario said - "It's certainly different and it keeps the customers amused." Painter Richard Finch commented "I never expected to have my work hung in public, especially not this piece. I never intended to ever sell it." Interested? You can see the painting hung in the Boston Tea Party, Kingsmead Square in Bath. |
